Offensive Security Company today announced an updated version of the specialized distribution BackTrack 5 R3, built on Linux and designed for the study of information systems security.

In preparation for the release of the new platform, developers have focused on correcting the identified errors in the code and software solutions have focused on expanding the functionality and improve the stability of the complex. The distribution BackTrack 5 R3 includes more than 60 new tools, some of which were announced during the recent events on IT-Security BlackHat and DefCon 2012.
